Awards and Achivements
Achievement Awards in Writing (for 11th grade students) This school-based writing program encourages high school students in their writing and publicly recognizes some of the best student writers in the nation.
Promising Young Writers (for 8th grade students)
This school-based writing program stimulates and recognizes student's writing talents and emphasizes the importance of writing skills among eighth-grade students.
About Westwood
WESTWOOD HIGH SCHOOL was founded in 1998 when a group of professionals recognized the need for a high school that would adequately prepare students who reside in Nigeria to continue their education in the United Kingdown.
In recognition of the necessity for educational development within Imo State and the need to inculcate in our children sound doctrine, the right moral and spiritual values. coupled with the current harsh economic condition in the country, WESTWOOD, Owerri under the leadership of Mrs Kimberly Brown, decided to establish a High School for the attainment of high academic and moral discipline in imo state and in the country at large.
