The WESTWOOD HIGH SCHOOL was founded in 1998 when a group of professionals recognized the need for a high school that would adequately prepare students who reside in Nigeria to continue their education in the United Kingdown.
In recognition of the necessity for educational development within Imo State and the need to inculcate in our children sound doctrine, the right moral and spiritual values. coupled with the current harsh economic condition in the country, WESTWOOD, Owerri under the leadership of Mrs Kimberly Brown, decided to establish a High School for the attainment of high academic and moral discipline in imo state and in the country at large.

• Secures and prepares instructional materials in advance and shows written evidence of preparation
• Plans purposeful assignments for student teachers, aides, and substitute teachers
Kimberly Brown
Music Teacher
Essential Duties
• planning individual lessons and overall schemes of work for pupils.
• Developing knowledge of materials and repertoire for students at different stages of their musical development.
• Teaching individual and/or group lessons lasting from 15 minutes to an hour or longer, usually incorporating elements of general musicianship, such as ear training and theory, as well as instrumental technique and interpretation;
